TubeBrieferThese Terms are between you and TubeBriefer ("TubeBriefer," "we," "us") and govern tubebriefer.com, our transcription workspace, exports, accounts, subscriptions and related services (the “Service”). By clicking accept, creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you use it for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.
1. Eligibility and account
You must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country, and able to form a contract. Keep credentials confidential, provide accurate information, and notify us of unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account and for administrator permissions.
2. The Service and acceptable use
The Service accepts authorized YouTube URLs and uploaded audio/video and generates machine-produced transcripts, timestamps, speaker labels and exports. Results may contain errors and are not professional, legal, medical, financial or accessibility advice. You must not: (a) infringe or facilitate infringement; (b) download, bypass access controls, scrape, or violate YouTube, copyright, privacy or other platform terms; (c) submit content you lack rights to process; (d) upload malware or unlawful, discriminatory, exploitative or highly sensitive content; (e) resell, overload, probe, reverse engineer or evade quotas or security; or (f) use output to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects without required safeguards.
3. Your content and our license
You retain rights in User Content and outputs to the extent permitted by law. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, transform and process User Content only to operate, secure, support and improve the Service, comply with law, and prevent abuse. We may use aggregated or de-identified data. You represent that you have all permissions and notices, including consent of speakers where required, and that use will not violate law or third-party rights. We may remove content reasonably believed unlawful or harmful.
4. Third-party services
YouTube, payment processors, cloud/AI providers and integrations are third-party services with their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability, content or practices. TubeBriefer is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.
5. Plans, payment and renewal
Paid plans, limits, taxes, billing period and price are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You authorize the payment provider to charge the listed method. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. We may change prices prospectively with reasonable notice. Failed payments may suspend access after notice.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, software, branding, templates and documentation belong to us or our licensors. Except for the rights expressly granted, no license is granted. You may use exports for lawful personal or commercial purposes subject to these Terms and third-party rights.
7. Privacy, retention and deletion
Our Privacy Policy explains processing. We may delete or de-identify User Content according to product settings, plan limits, inactivity, termination, security needs and the Privacy Policy. Keep your own copies of important exports.
8. Suspension and termination
You may stop using and cancel the Service. We may suspend or terminate for non-payment, breach, legal risk, abuse, security threats or discontinuation, with notice where practicable. On termination, access may cease and data may be deleted under the Privacy Policy. Sections intended to survive (payment, IP, disclaimers, liability, dispute terms) survive.
9. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent allowed by law, the Service and outputs are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted availability, accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that every source will be accessible. You must review outputs before relying on them.
10. Liability
Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including mandatory consumer rights, fraud or intentional misconduct. To the maximum lawful extent, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit loss. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the Service in the three months before the event or USD 100, unless mandatory law requires more. You will indemnify us for claims arising from your content, unlawful use, breach or violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
11. Disputes and governing law
Contact [email protected] first so we can resolve concerns. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, these Terms are governed by [GOVERNING LAW/JURISDICTION] and disputes are brought there. Nothing prevents a consumer from using mandatory local courts or statutory remedies. Any arbitration/class-action waiver applies only where lawful and is not imposed on consumers where prohibited.
12. Changes and contact
